Sisters in Art

During an artist residency at Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island in June 2010, I encountered Wende Bartley, Barbara Bickel, Barb Howard and Medwyn McConachy, four artists involved in sound, music, education, sacred healing arts and visual and/or performing ritual arts. Amongst their various collaborations at Artscape was a labyrinth walk on the beach, which I was welcomed to witness… and photograph. The landscape, the beach, the music, the movement and sense of caring community were wonderful.
